FAQs

Christmas Tree Festivals are community events that bring people together for a good cause. Families, local businesses and organisations each decorate a Christmas Tree, which are then displayed publicly to raise money for the chosen charity/charities.

Anyone! You can apply if you represent a group, charity or business, or you can take one on as a family or individual project!

Each pitch costs £25 and includes a real Christmas Tree from local supplier Bovingdon Christmas Trees - that you can take home after if you want!

Other than that, it's just the cost of the battery powered lights & decorations, the budget for which is totally up to you!

Our Christmas Tree Festival will run over four days. This year the dates are 3rd-6th December. Please check the full information page for times.

This year we are raising money for our host St Lawrence Church, and the 1st Bovingdon Scouts (fitting as it is the 1st Festival!)

There are plenty of ways you can help, without decorating a tree (although that is the very best way!)

We need donations for Raffle prizes, and stewards to help oversee the event.

If you would like to discuss ways in which you can help, please email events@stlawrencebovingdon.com.

No! We will have live music and a 'Decorate a Christmas Stocking' competition for children to enter! More on all that available on the full info page.

Refreshments will be available at designated times through the weekend. Please go to the full information page to see when that will be.

That's Feliz, our Christmas Tree Festival Mascot!! You will be able to vote for your favourite trees while browsing, and the winner will receive Feliz to show off that they had the best Christmas Tree in 2021!

I'm so sorry! If you can't find the information you need here, or anywhere else on this site, please email us at events@stlawrencebovingdon.com and we will do our best to help.
